Movies I've watched recently

I'm Not There

The movie: Interesting and cool to look at, but too long.

The Dylans:

Christian Bale: I love Christian Bale.

Cate Blanchett: Looked awesome, but she annoyed me with the voice she affected. Overacting, I think.

Marcus Carl Franklin: Good.

Richard Gere: I have no idea why this character was in the movie. Cutting him would have been a wonderful way to make the movie shorter.

Heath Ledger: Good. And better because he came with Charlotte Gainsbourg.

Ben Whishaw: Good. (Also, I still haven't seen Perfume.)

Interiors

From Vincent Canby's New York Times review: "Rather than describe Interiors as his first serious drama, I think it's more precise to say that it's the first Woody Allen film that doesn't care to be funny."

Breaking and Entering

An Anthony Minghella movie. I knew very little about it and got it from the library. I liked it a lot and definitely recommend it.

(And notice how Jude Law's in every picture I posted? Not an accident on my part. Not an accident at all.)

13 Going on 30

I guess I should be embarrassed, but I liked this movie. I think it's because all the actors seemed to take it seriously. Also it's because of Mark Ruffalo. And Judy Greer.

And if you've ever wanted to see Mark Ruffalo, Secret Agent Sidney Bristow, Kitty Sanchez ("Say goodbye to these!"), and Gollum/Smeagol dancing to "Thriller," now you can:
